Carmella Green is a Lyric Soprano with a rich, warm and powerful voice. She has been recognized  for many choral and solo accomplishments of both classical and sacred works. Recipient of many vocal awards such as the Musical Matinee Society of Philadelphia Award, the Twisdale Music Award, and the William King Community Service Award. She was also nominated for the Most Promising New Gospel Artist by the Philadelphia Arts Academy.

Carmella has traveled and performed many solo and choral concerts in prestigious venues such as the San Juan Orchestra House, Puerto Rico's Music Hall, The Philadelphia Academy of Music and The Kimmel Center. Carmella received her first voice lessons from Mrs. Diana Borgia-Petro while attending high school (Girard Academic Music Program). She went on to study under Professor Florence Berggren and vocal coach Martin Rich at Temple University receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance in 1991 and Music Education in 1993.

Carmella served as Minister of Music for Triumph Baptist Church from 2007 to 2012 and Assistant Minister of Music from 2012 to 2014. She served as a choral director for the Philadelphia Citywide Revival Mass Choir for several years. Carmella taught music education and conducted school choirs in Philadelphia public and private schools.

Carmella's beautiful voice continues to inspire, motivate and move those who hear her sing.
